Reading-our story this week is Dogzilla on pages 310-328. Please read this
one night with your child before our test on Thursday. This is always a
favorite among our students each year.
Spelling-words with ou or o sound;a list should come home on Monday.
HOMEWORK: Monday-3
times each, Tuesday-ABC order, Wednesday-word search. We will test over these
words on Thursday.
English-we are studying verbs in Unit 3.
Math-we are studying word problems with addition and subtraction. Your child
will have a homework sheet on Monday and Tuesday. They do receive one extra
credit point if you look over their math and sign it.
Science-we will be studying Animals and Their Environments in Chapter 3;
please see the above note about extra credit that is offered.
READING LOG IS DUE ON THURSDAY SIGNED BY AN ADULT LISTENER! Students need to
read at least 10 minutes each night and record their story or pages on this
log; please encourage your child to do this.
