I graduated from E.T.S.U. in 1996, after working as a teacher's
assistant at Rogersville City School for 10 years. I am currently working on
my Master's Degree through Union College in Kentucky. I have taught 3rd
grade for the past 12 years. I am married to Charlie Gibson, who is a
detective with the Rogersville Police Department and he is also a preacher.
We have been blessed with 3 sons, Blake, Cambren, and Cade. I am an active
member of the East Rogersville Baptist Church. I spend most of my time at
school, church, and ballgames. I enjoy reading, camping, and
scrapbooking.
My goal as a teacher is that every child will leave my room feeling
better about themselves than they did when they entered my
classroom. I try to provide the most appropriate setting in which
each child can learn and provide every possible opportunity for the
learning to take place. I want each child to feel safe and loved
while they are in my care.
