I have been teaching for 24 years at RCS. I taught for one year at
Surgoinsville Elementary before coming to RCS. I have taught second,
third, first, seventh and eighth combined, fifth, and fourth
grades. I love fourth grade!
I graduated from UT and earned a Master's degree at ETSU.
I live in Rogersville with my husband and four children, one of
whom attends school at RCS. We are members of East Rogersville Baptist
Church.
My mission as a teacher is twofold: I want every to child to embrace
learning, especially reading, with a love for it that will last far
beyond my class (a lifetime!!). I also want every child to know he or she
is an important, valuable person who can contribute in positive ways to our
class.
