About The Teacher

     I have been teaching Kindergarten at Rogersville City School since 
1996.  I previously co-sponsored our school's Jr. Beta Club for several 
years.  I have a B.S. in Elementary Education (K-8) from East Tennessee 
State University.  I have also completed training through the East Tennessee 
Autism Project and have over thirty hours professional development in this 
field.  Prior to graduating from E.T.S.U., I worked as a substitute teacher 
in the Johnson City School System.  
     Becoming a teacher has been a lifelong dream of mine and each day my 
class reminds me of how blessed I am to be an educator.
     I am married to Rocky Russell.  We have three daughters ages thirteen,
eight, and four.  I enjoy art, reading, working in the yard, "Kinder 
Community Projects", and spending time with my family.
