I am a first grade teacher at RCS. This is my 13th year of teaching. I am
married to Ted Trent, a teacher and football coach at Cherokee High School.I
have 3 children: Tanner is 14, Teagan is 12, and
Tatum is 9. In what little free time I have, I enjoy reading.
I am almost always watching my boys play basketball, baseball, and football.
My daughter keeps me busy with Top Gun All star cheerleading. We
are also involved in our church, Rogersville First United Methodist.
I have a B.S. in Multidisciplinary studies from Tennessee Tech, a
M.S.in Curriculum from The University of Tennessee, and an Ed.S. in
Administration from Lincoln Memorial University.
My class is a place of fun, interactive learning where
the students participate in various types of learning activites. We
learn together how to have a love of reading, do math facts, and
experience science. I hope to instill a lifelong love of learning and
a positive school experience that will be the springboard for a
successful school career.
