Prepare a list of 25 ways the metric system is used in our world. Include
measurements of length, volume, temperature, and mass.
READING - Find a poem that has something to do with the winter season.
Prepare the poem to present to the class. You do not need to memorize the
poem, but must be able to read it to use with expression, and explain to us
what the poet intended for us to learn/understand from the poem.

SCIENCE - Prepare an experiment that is listed in our science book for
presentation to the class. See me when you decide what you'd like to do, as I
may have most of the materials you would need.
ENGLISH - Prepare a list of at least 25 words that can be used in place
of "said" when using quotation marks.
EXAMPLE:
James said, "I can't wait for Christmas."
What words could you use instead of said?
