Kindergarten News Mrs. Hancock’s Class December 14-18, 2009 ** Please remember to send BLUE folders to school every day. ** I know that December is a busy month, but READ, READ, READ as much as you can. Reading logs will be due January 4th. ** Still in need of twistable crayons (8 count), glue sticks, and Fiskars scissors. ** Please remember that we will be dismissing at 11:30 on Friday. If your child is absent it will count as a whole day. The cafeteria will NOT be serving lunch. ** I wish each of you and your family a wonderful Christmas Break!!! ** Please continue working on Theme words and color words. We have started working on writing our last names. Spelling tests will begin after Christmas Break. I will be sending the first week’s words home later th ** Please remember that any time you send in money (lunch money, book orders, etc.) PLEASE, PLEASE put in an envelope with your child’s name, K-Hancock and what it is for, and then put in their YELLOW folder. I do not have time to check 6 pockets on 18 backpacks, but I PROMISE that I will be checking their BLUE folders.
