About The Teacher

I am a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a BS in 
Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, with a concentration in English and 
Humanities.  I have three children: Guy, age 29, Heather, age 25, and 
Courtney, age 23. In 2007 I added a new son when Courtney married Jonathan 
Bacon. I have two lovely five-year-old grand-kitties, Princess 
Elstrid and Gossamer, and two newly born grandson kitties, Bimble and Bumble.
I have traveled all over the US, to Canada and the Bahamas.  I love to camp, 
to read, to collect rocks, and, of course, to teach.

Mission For The Class

Our classroom mission is to ensure that each student becomes a member of a 
community of people who are excited about gaining knowledge and all the 
doors that will open to them when they learn; to inspire students to set 
goals for themselves and to strive with excellence everyday to achieve those 
goals; and to set a firm foundation beneath the feet of each student.
