The most important academic skill students will ever acquire in
school is the ability to read and write fluently. Success in all
other academic subjects is based on these two skills. At Rogersville City
School one of our most important missions should be to create not only
proficient readers, but students who will become LIFE TIME READERS!
More important than any academic skill a student can ever learn is the
ability to work with and get along with others. I would hope that students
would learn to live the "Golden Rule".
