Can I come and volunteer in your classroom?

You are more than welcome to come and help in our classroom.  Please just let
me know a day or two in advance so I can have things set up for you to do.  
You can get a pass from the office.

How will you communicate with me?

I will be sending home a journal daily for you to view, sign, and return. 
You will be able to stay updated on your child's progress, behavior, class  
announcements, and homework assignments.  I will be sending home notes and 
making phone calls to you.  I will give you a Helton Hollar in the middle of 
each 6 weeks and sending home a progress report.  I will keep our web page 
updated so you will be able to go to it anytime.  I will send a newsletter 
home each Friday in the Friday Folder.  We will be having parent teacher 
conferences together throughout the school year.

What time does school begin and end?

Your child needs to be in our classroom by 7:50.  Dismissal is at 2:50.  You 
can pick up car riders out front each afternoon.  Please let me know how 
your child gets home and if this changes please send me a note 
or call the school.

How can I get a hold of you?

You can send me a note in your child's journal.  You can also call and leave 
me a message in the office and I will call you back.  We can speak on the 
phone or schedule a conference.  You can also email me.
