Will my child have homework every night?

Yes, your child will have homework every night. I assign homework in
phonics 3 to 4 days a week. Your child will usually have math homework 2
days a week. Reading words, spelling words, and sight words need to be
studied daily.

Will I receive my child's work at the end of each week?

On Friday I send home a "Friday Folder." The folder has your child's work
inside for the week. This will help you to know exactly how your child has
performed duing the week. It will help you to indentify your child's
strengths and weaknesses. You might have your child re-do any activity that
he or she might have had trouble with.

How do I know what my child is studying at school?

Inside your child's weekly Friday folder will be a "Calling all Parents"
newsetter. The newsletter will let you know what your child will be
studying the following week. I also send home the spelling and reading
words for the following week. This way your child can begin studying over
the weekend.
