I am from Nashville, TN. I am married to Walter Achuff and we have a
beautiful seven year old daughter named Katie. She is attending Rock Springs
Elementary for 2nd grade this fall. I received my bachelors in elementary
education, Masters in Reading Specialty from Harding University and my
masters in Leadership from Middle Tennessee State University. My hobbies are
playing guitar, singing,and scrapbooking.I help lead the praise team at our
church, Crossroad Community Church in Green Hills.We have a Cocker Spaniel
and a cat. This is my tenth year teaching in Metro. Schools, five of which I
taught Kindergarten. Please know that I take the responsibility of teaching
your child very seriously. There is no greater honor than teaching a child
the love of reading. I look forward to a wondeful school year. Please know
that my classroom door is always open to you! Communication is very
important to me.
To educate 1st graders in a appropriate, fun, safe, positive, Christian
environment. To teach/reach and educate all students at their comprehension
level no matter what level that might be. I want to not only be a teacher,
but a friend and a positive role model to all students.
