Attended David Lipscomb University for Undergraduate and Graduate School with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership.

     I live on a big farm with cows, a horse and a billy goat, 8 cats, 3 
dogs, wild turkeys, and plenty of deer, wild geese, (we've even spotted a 
bobcat early one morning), purple martins and 2 ponds in which to fish!  
     I love children and helping them learn all the many things they 
will need in life to be successful and prepared for future years in school.
     My husband, Eddie, and I have been married for 39 years! We have 
2 children. Our daughter and her husband have been married for five years. 
They have a baby girl 14 months old.  Our son married at the farm!  He and 
his wife have our grandson, who is now 21 months old.
      I love Shayne Elementary and all the teachers, staff, and the boys and 
girls here at our school. The parents here are supporters who give us so 
much encouragement. I've taught in eight different schools and I believe we 
are extremely fortunate to have this wonderful place in which to learn and 
be together.
