This is my 14th year teaching in Memphis City Schools. I am
married and have two children. Amanda is seven and will attend second grade
at Snowden this year. Ryan is two years old. In addition to
teaching history, I am the yearbook sponsor and Make-A-wish organizer.
During this year the 8th grade team would like to help your child prepare
for high school. Our focus this year is Responsibility, Respect, and
Readiness. Instruction in class will complement these goals. Content
wise we will focus on the period from European exploration through
Civil War Reconstruction. TCAP skills activities will be infused throughout
the year.
