When can I have a conference with Mrs. Mitchell?
I will be happy to meet or phone any parent. I can have a conference before or after school on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. Please send me a note requesting a conference. Also, give me an idea of your concerns, plus a day or or so to prepare, and I will be more than happy to get with you. I am asking that you do not try to conference with me during instructional time. It really disrupts the class' routine and gets students off track. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation with this matter. Please remember that my sole purpose at Snowden is to make 3rd grade a pleasant experience for you and a successful learning experience for your child.Back to Top
If my child is absent, how is the make up work process handled?
The first day your child returns to school he/she will be given all of the work that is necessary for him/her to complete. At the least, the child will be given one days time for every day missed. Usually, I extend it even longer. Please understand that this is the best policy for both myself and your child. Also, please send an excuse for the days absent.Back to Top
