All About Mrs. New

I am Suzanne New, ESL teacher at Snowden School.  This is my 13th year 
teaching in Memphis City Schools.  I have taught ESL for 8 years and taught 
Kindergarten 4 years prior to that.  My previous schools include Florida 
Elementary, Scenic Hills Elementary, and Egypt Elementary.  I am thrilled to 
be teaching in 
Midtown, where I have lived for 16 years. 

My husband of 9 years, Erick, and I have 2 gorgeous boys.  They are Garner, 
born September 2004, and Greg, born April 2006.  We also have a doggie 
daughter, Lottie, age 8. Erick is co-owner of Garden District florist. We 
live in Central Gardens and are members of Grace St. Lukes Episcopal Church.

My Mission for all ESL Students

It is my mission for all English Language Learners to become proficient in 
Reading, Writing, and Speaking English so that they may fully benefit from 
the exceptional classroom instruction given here at Snowden School.
