This week we are reading “King Midas and the Golden Touch” by Charlotte Craft.
We will focus on some vocabulary words in this story. It would be helpful if
you will reinforce the meaning of these words at home with your child. Also,
on this newsletter you will find our spelling words for the week. Please
practice these words at home as well. The words in italics are our challenge

SOCIAL STUDIES: We will completing our unit on our state of Tennessee.
Students will be working of a project that will help them learn lots of new
and interesting things about Tennessee. Students will be given class time and
materials to work and complete this project. ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING
A FOLDER OR A BINDER TO KEEP THEIR PROJECT ORGANIZED. Thanks for your help
