About The Teacher

My name is Beth Young, and this is my second year teaching 5th grade here at 
Spring Hill School.  I am happy to be teaching your child this year!

I grew up in Medina, Tennessee, where I lived with my parents and two 
brothers.  I now live here in Trenton, with my husband of 16 years, 
David; and our two daughters.  My older daughter is very excited about going 
to GCHS this year as a freshman, and my younger child just can't wait to be 
in the fourth grade.  My family is very excited about our move to the Spring 
Hill community!

Having experienced Spring Hill School as both a parent and a teacher, I 
am proud to confirm this school's commitment to quality education.

Mission For The Class

My mission for this class is to equip every student to be the very best that 
they can be.  I want to motivate the students and show them how much fun 
learning can be.  I want to help these children to see that our lives are 
shaped by the choices we make and to provide each child with the necessary 
skills to make good choices. I want to show students that what they are 
learning is important not only inside this classroom, but I want them to 
learn things that they can carry wherever they go.
