About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
ABOUT THE TEACHER: My name is Ms. Debbie Abbott, and this is my twelfth year teaching First Grade at Spring Hill School. I absolutely love teaching children at this age because they are so eager to learn. I look forward to working with you and your child this year. I graduated from Peabody High School in 1982. I received my Bachelor Degree in Education in 1990. Prior coming to Spring Hill School, I taught Head Start for eight years. I have a "soon to be" twenty-one year old son, Matthew, who is currently a Junior at the University of Tennessee at Martin majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Biology. He is an only child and my greatest accomplishment. Please feel free to contact me at any time during the year to discuss your child's progress! We are a team and I look forward to meeting each of you and watching your child grow and learn. Please be advised: *I set high expectations for my students and expect their best performance. I also set high expectations of my parents, we are a team! * Parents...you will be amazed at how much your child learns and grows this year!! I am always amazed myself.
