Why doesn't my child have more homework?

I believe that the students work hard during their school day. In
most cases, it is possible for them to complete things at school.
However, I do consider studying for tests and reading AR books as
homework. If the students do not complete an assignment in
class, it then becomes homework. I also send home extra practice
when the class seems to be having a hard time with a particular
skill. There is also an occasional project that must be done at
home.

How can I help my child at home?

When you sign your child's planner each night, ask them what they
did at school. Go through the graded papers that are sent home
and talk to your child about them.
