Can I eat lunch with my child?

Yes, you are welcome to eat lunch with your child.  You will need to sign in 
at the office and get a visitor sticker.  Then just wait outside the office 
for our class.  We have lunch from 10:45 - 11:15.  Please sit at one of the 
round tables by the windows to eat.

When can I come in for a meeting?

I am available before 7:30 a.m. with prior notice.  I can meet any day after 
3:15 except for the 2nd Tuesday of the month, as we have staff meetings on 
that day.

Can I celebrate my child's birthday at school?

Yes!  Please let me know before the day you wish to come.  If you are 
wanting to bring drinks for the party, please bring juice boxes.

If my child gets ill at school, what happens?

Any child that has a fever or vomits at school is sent to the nurse.  She 
then
calls the parent for them to be picked up.  The student may not return until
he/she is fever free for 24 hours.

Does my child have snack everyday?

Yes, in Kindergarten we have snack everyday.  It costs $2.00 a week.  It is
best to send it in a envelope or ziploc in the folder on Monday.

What happens for unexcused tardies under the new attendance policy?

Early dismissals are included if unexcused.

1 to 2 unexcused tardies = no action
3rd unexcused tardy = discipline form to notify parent of possible meeting
4th unexcused tardy = mandatory meeting with attendance committee
5th unexcused tardy = trip to court
