I hope everyone is having a great year so far. I'll use this page to share the standards that we'll be working in the upcoming weeks. I'll also post some of my favorite math links for extra practice and games. Their mathbook is online! (Scroll to bottom for instructions.) Please email me with any questions you have.
Standards week of: November 16-20 and beyond
GLE 506.2.3: Develop fluency with division of whole numbers. Understand the relationship of divisor, dividend, and quotient in terms of multiplication and division.
Check for understanding 506.2.7 Understand the placement of the decimal point in calculations of long division
Check for understanding 506.2.8 Understand that division by zero is undefined.
SPI 506.2.3 Select a reasonable solution to a real world division problem in which the remainder must be considered.
SPI 506.2.4 Solve problems involving the division of two and three digit whole numbers by one and two digit whole numbers.
GLE 506.4.1 Use basic formulas and visualization to find the area of geometric figures.
