What time does school begin?

Pre-K begins at 7:15. We will begin accepting students at 7:10. Pre-K students must be brought to the
classroom and signed in daily. Please be respectful of our time in the morning as we are preparing the
room for an Awesome Pre- K day. We will open the doors at 7:10 and the students may enter the
classroom at that time.

What is the afternoon dismissal policy?

Dismissal is 12:45 If your child is a car rider, your child will be brought up to the front and
they sit in a designated area. You may either park in the parking lot or near the school. Please walk
in and sign your child out. All students must be pick up on time. Late pick ups does not allow

What are the classroom rules?

We have 4 basic rules in our classroom.
1.Listening ears.
2.Helping Hands
3.Work and Play safely.
4.Be nice to others.

I believe in a positive classroom enviorment.. Students are always
encouraged to do their best, each student has special talents that can shine.

Rewards for positive classroom behavior and participation: hugs, high fives,
praise, stickers, super skittles

Consequences: Time to his/her self; loose recess, phone call and or note to
parent

What is the green, yellow and red light?

We use this in the classroom as visual to the students. All students being
their day on green. When students do not follow the rules they are moved to
the edge of green which is a warning. They are then moved to yellow which
means the child will have to sit out 5 minutes at recess. If a child
continues to break the rules he/she will move the name to red and will miss
15 minutes of recess. I do not believe in missing ALL of recess unless under
severe consequences. Parents will be informed daily of his/her child's
behavior.
