How does a student join the ESL program?
In the registration packet, parents complete a document called a Home Language Survey. If any language other than English is denoted on that form, then the student is tested using the state-approved English Language Assessment. If the student scores below fluent on any subtest, then they qualify for ESL services.Back to Top
