I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College in North Carolina in 1997 with a
degree in Deaf Education. I taught deaf/hard of hearing students for five
years in NC. I relocated to Tennessee in 2002, when I met my husband Joe.
We've been married for five years now. And this is my eighth year teaching
in Wilson County. I just recently completed my masters in education at
Trevecca Nazarene University. Joe and I adopted our daughter, Caroline Hope,
in January 2009. We are enjoying every minute with her! We also have two
beagles, Molly and Banjo.
