Welcome to the start of school!  There are a few requirements that are 
very important for your child's participation in Physical Education.

1.   Every student is required to wear tennis shoes for P.E.  If they are 
not wearing tennis shoes, they will not be able to participate.  If they sit-
out more than three times in 9 weeks, they will not receive a Satisfactory 
mark for the 9 weeks.  Please help your children be successful by providing 
them with the proper shoes to wear on P.E. days.

2.   Each student must be dressed appropriately for exercise.  A skirt or 
dress is not good to wear on P.E. day.  If a skirt or dress needs to be 
worn, please put shorts underneath.  Also, belts need to be worn if your 
child's clothes are too loose.  If they have to hold their clothes up, 
they will not be able to participate.

3.   If you child is sick or needs to sit out of class for any reason, 
please send a note.  This ensures the safety of your child and the other 
children in the class.

4.   A schedule will be given to you regarding P.E. and support days.  Put 
this somewhere convenient so you can reference it often.  Each class will 
attend P.E. on the same designated day throughout the school year, however, 
there are times that they will be attending on select Fridays.  Know their 
schedule so they don't miss anything.
