I have been teaching at Stuart-Burns Elementary for 24 years. I started out teaching Title I for 5 years. I have taught first grade for 19 years. I have one son. I am married to Dr. Fred Whelan. We have a combination of six children and 10 grandchildren.
I would like the students in my class to be lifelong readers and learners. We work hard everyday for students to accomplish this goal.
