Hello! I would like to tell you about myself. I was born and raised in
Dickson. This is my 25th year of teaching, and I am proud to say I have been
at Burns for 25 years. I received my BS from Austin Peay State University.
I have my Maste's Degree in adminstration and supervision. I have 30
additional hours beyond my Master's. I am a very active person. I love to
read and participate in all types of sports. I really love to play
volleyball and tennis.
I want my students to be successful and have the attitude "I can be
successful with any task I try." I want to actively involve my students and
making learning fun for them. There is an ancient Chinese proverb which
states: Tell me, I forget. Show me, I remember. Involve me, I understand.
I strongly believe in this proverb and try to apply it my classroom.
