•Book Fair is this week. If your child would like to purchase anything from
the book fair, they may bring money any time the rest of this week or Monday
and I will let them go to the book fair during free time.
•Family Night at the Book Fair will be THURSDAY, November 12 from 3:30-7:30
p.m.
•Paws for Claus will be SATURDAY, November 14 from 9-12. You can come take
pictures with Santa and visit the Book Fair all on the same day!
•I will be sending home all of the graded papers that I have for this nine
weeks along with a progress report of what your child’s current average is
tomorrow. Please sign and return the progress report.
•As the weather gets cooler, please remember to send a jacket or coat for
your child to wear to recess. When it is nice, cool weather, I require them
to at least have their arms covered. If they do not have sleeves on cool
days, they will have to stay inside and read a book in homework lab.
•Please remember to look through your child’s binder each night for notes and
sign their homework sheet AND behavior sheet. This is our best mode of daily
communication.
•Please mark your calendars for TUESDAY, November 24. We will be having our
annual 2nd grade Thanksgiving Feast that day. Parents, siblings, grandparents
are all welcome to join us! More information will go home next week.
•I am including the vocabulary and spelling words on this newsletter in case
your child’s homework sheet was misplaced Monday.
