December 7 - December 18, 2009
Reading: We will be continuing our poetry unit. Students have their glossary poetry terms and samples that they have created to study for unit test on Thurs., 12/17.
Language: Unit test on Verbs is Monday, 12/7. We will begin Unit 4 on adjectives. We will cover basic adjectives and articles
Spelling: no tests until after Winter Break
Writing: Sequencing, organization, and writing 3 paragraph essays
Winter Party!
We will be having a winter breakfast and gift exchange on Friday, Dec. 18th. Students will volunteer to bring in a breakfast item to share with the class. They will also have the opportunity to bring in a $7 - $10 gift to participate in an exchange game.
