Mrs. VanNatter is a 2007 honors graduate from Tennessee Technological University. She is certified as a K-8 educator and is highly qualified in K-6 content levels and 7th-8th grade language arts. This is her second year at North Elementary and she is looking forward to a wonderful year in fifth grade. Mrs. VanNatter has been married to her husband, Rodney, for 18 years. They have two children, Kelsey, 9th grade, and Chandler, 6th grade. Her parents are Billy and Barbara Voiles of Jamestown. She has one younger sister, Belinda Voiles, of Knoxville. Mrs. VanNatter has many hobbies. She loves Lady Vols basketball! She enjoys riding through the mountains during the fall and she enjoys weekend get-a-ways with her husband in the convertible. She enjoys listening to music and singing with her daughter. She loves to travel, especially to the beach. She also enjoys going to the lake, cheering her children on in their sporting games, and hanging with the gals. She is currently reading the Twilight novels and has finished book two.....she can't wait to start on three. Mrs. VanNatter has a deep passion for educating and assisting children in many areas of life. Whether she is being a mom, a teacher, a coach, or working with the children in the community, she wants to create a safe environment where children will feel free to become risk takers - enabling them to become productive, effective individuals!
