We are happy to be your child’s teachers. We have had the opportunity of
meeting several of you and hope to know all parents in the near future. Your
child is very important to us. We want them to learn, to grow, and have a
happy year. The fifth grade switches classes throughout the day. Each child
will be assigned a homeroom class. The fifth grade teachers are Mrs. Kumpf,
Mrs. Owensby, and Mrs. Williams.
It is great to be teaching at Tuckers Crossroads! I look forward to working
with you and your child this school year. I live in the Tuckers Crossroads
community with my husband and two children. I went back to school as an
adult to pursue a degree in education and I am so glad I did. I love
teaching and working with children everyday. I am looking forward to a great
year at TXR!
Mrs. Kumpf
I am Nicole Williams; this is my second year to be a 5th grade teacher at
Tuckers Crossroads School. This is my ninth year to teach, in addition to
teaching 5th grade I have taught grades 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I have Bachelor’s
and Master’s Degree in Education from Cumberland University. I was born in
Nashville, TN where I lived until I got married. My family now lives in
Lebanon, TN where we have had a house since 2001. My husband, Clay, and I
have two children Gracie, 4, and Evan, 9 months. We have 2 animals Susie, a
mixed breed dog and Rosie, a potbelly pig. Our family loves to spend time
together outdoors and we enjoy our weekends on the go. I am looking forward
to teaching your child and expect to have a wonderful year!

Welcome to 5th grade at Tucker's Crossroads! My name is Karie Owensby.
Although this is my first year at Tucker's, this is will be my sixth year
teaching. Along with Reading, I will be your Social Studies and Science
teacher. I know that we will have a year full of learning and fun! I look
forward to getting to know each and every one of you. I have high
expectations for each of you and enjoy watching you achieve your goals. We
have an incredible year in store for us!
