My classroom requires a great deal of energy. I do some lecture, however I require my students to get involved in many projects and labs. You will be required to work on several hands-on projects. You will be working alone at times while working in groups at other times.

I feel that I am very fair, but strict with my grading procedures. You will be asked to bring all of your materials everyday. If someone does not have their materials, I will deduct points from their daily grade.

In order to be successful in my class, you will have to put forth some effort. Please do not let this scare you. Most students find my class to be very enjoyable. My students hold a great deal of ownership in the way the classroom is operated.

So come to class with alot of energy. Get excited about the class, and I promise you will have an exciting and successful year.
