What if I forgot to color my maps or graphs?

The highest score you can possibly earn is a 70 if you don't have color on
your maps or graphs. I'm not being picky about this, just look in a
book...maps and graphs are colored to be easily understood.

I don't have a pencil, can I borrow one?

I am not a school store or Wal-Mart...I expect you to bring ALL materials to
class each and every day. If you don't have supplies you need, ask a buddy
in class to let you borrow what you need.

I forgot my work or I left it at home, what do I do?

I am too generous with this one...I understand we forget things SOMETIMES! I
usually will deduct 25 points if an assignment is late and take it the next
day. However, if this becomes a recurring problem, I will automatically
assing a grade of zero.

I don't understand what you are going over....

Always ask if you are not clear about any assignment, notes, map, graph,
chart, etc... the only stupid questions are the ones we forget to ask.

Can I go to the restroom?

Again, generous on this one as well. I usually allow students to go unless
it becomes an everyday issue and you take advantage of it. I realize
emergencies arise for the bathroom and if you ask, please make sure it is
necessary and not an excuse to leave class.

Can I go to my locker, I forgot to bring my markers...

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Once you enter my room, you are there for the duration of
class...always bring your books, notebooks, markers, pencils, etc...

Is there anything I can do for extra credit?

Always...do your work and you won't need extra credit! However, i do count
some computer assignments and a few educational games we play during class
as extra credit.
