Having taught and coached at Vance for over five years, I've developed a
good rapport with students, parents, staff members, and the community.
Teaching is a very rewarding profession and I enjoy every moment of it. In
addition to my academic responsibilities at Vance, I am the head coach for
girls soccer (fall), seventh-grade boys basketball (winter), and boys soccer
(spring).
My class mission is very simple -- I use the TEAM approach (Together
Everyone Achieves More). My teaching style is student-centered and I allow
my students to guide my instructional methods. Today's children are
tomorrow's leaders...I will make a positive influence on EVERY child I have
the opportunity to teach. Everyone has different styles of learning and I
will ensure my teaching methods reach all types of learners.
