Vance Middle School Junior Viking Band

Items that we can accept for recycling

·       Cell Phones (no chargers or accessories)

·       Digital Cameras (no accessories)

·       Digital Video Cameras (Digital Camcorders – no accessories)

·       Ink-Jet Printer Cartridges*

(We accept the small ones that will fit in the palm of your hand.

No laser cartridges, no toner cartridges, no fax cartridges)

·       MP3 Players**  (**includes ONLY Apple iPod, Microsoft Zune, Sandisk, Creative)

Laptop Computers***

(***We do not accept desktop computers, tower computers, monitors, printers, canners, faxes,

keyboards, mousses or TV’s, etc.)

·       Video Game Systems ONLY****

           (***including Sony PSP handheld, Nintendo DS lite, Nintendo DS original, Nintendo Gameboy Advance,

            or Nintendo Gameboy color (No other types accepted MP3 Players)

If you have any of these items around your house, please consider donating them to the Vance Band.

There will be a collection box in the Band Room.

All information that would be stored on cell phones and laptop computers will be deleted.  No security issues to be concerned about.

You may also receive an income-tax deduction for the donation.  Please see Mr. McCoy for a form to fill out.

The band will receive money for the donations to help pay for the Spring Trip and other needs for the band.
