Dear Vance Band Parents and Students,
A very important part of the success of our band program is the summer
sessions that we have. Every band student is encouraged to attend the
rehearsals that we have scheduled.
This helps our students get ready for the next school year and prepare for
performances that the Vance Band has during the fall.
Please find the enclosed schedule of rehearsals. If you know that you will
be unable to attend a certain rehearsal please indicate on the return copy of
the calendar. Also provide updated information on the return copy of the
calendar.
The schedule will also be posted on Mr. McCoy’s web page:

Students that want to have additional help on their instruments can arrange
some help by calling the Vance Band Office.
Students not currently enrolled in band for the 2009 – 2010 school year can
contact the Counseling Office at Vance to enroll.
All students are to return a schedule. If you do not know your schedule, you
may contact Mr. McCoy if you know of changes later. Vance band students can
return them to school. Elementary students can return them to Mrs. Richmond
if you are able to see her. Or you may fax them to Vance or return by mail
or drop it by the main office at Vance.
