About The Teacher

     I am in my thirteenth year teaching at Vance Middle School.  (I won't 
tell 
how long I have been teaching altogether because it would reveal how old I 
am!)  
     I have a degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of 
Tennessee at Knoxville where I played in the University of Tennessee "Pride 
of the Southland Band."  
     I have a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from East Tennessee 
State University.
     My hobbies (other than music) include fly-fishing, photography and 
hiking.
