I am very happy to be your Choral Director at Vance Middle School and a
member of the great Jr. Viking Team. I teach Choral Music and General Music
at Vance, and also help out with "Natural Helpers" and "Save the Planet". I
am the Junior Varsity Cheerleading Coach for THS. We have two great
Performance Groups here at Vance, "Honors Choir" which is made up of
auditioned 7th and 8th grade students who will perform and
compete. "Rigby's Rugrats" a small group of singers and danceers who will
perform at area functions as well as compete.
I am married to a great guy named Mark, and I have two wonderful
daughters: Buffy and Blakely. We share our hearts and home with dogs,
Ladybug and Buffy's new addition Minnie Pom Pom the Cheer Dog.
For General Music we will be learning music history, great literature,
dance,
and some technology as well as experiencing some music instruments.
For 7TH and 8th Grade Honors Choir as strong push to learn to read the
written form of music, vocabulary, and part singing. We will be working on
our performance skills as well as gaining an opportunity to perform.
