What are the make-up work procedures?
Students are to inquire about make-up work upon their return to school.
There is a deadline set before each midterm and final grading period. Work
must be placed on the right hand side of the correct class folder that is
found in the front of the classroom by the deadline.
Homework grades?
Students must have their homework the day it is due. Work is not accepted
the next day unless there are unusual circumstances. If students forget
work in their lockers, they can bring it to me immediately after class for
80% credit. Students ARE NOT allowed to go to their lockers in the middle
of class!
Classroom Rules?
1. Students are to follow all rules in the BTCS Discipline Handbook and the
Vance Middle School Handbook.
2. All students are expected to participate in class on a daily basis.
3. My basic expectations are as follows:
*Enter with love.
*Show kindness to others.
*Always be prepared.
*Never stop learning.
Discipline Procedures?
Students who do not follow rules or procedures will be addressed with a
verbal or nonverbal signal from Mrs. Price. If a student continues the
behavior, he/she will be pulled aside to talk with Mrs. Price. If the
problem cannot be resolved, then the student will be sent to school day
detention for that class period or will be referred to the office for ISS.
***Some behaviors may result in immediate referral to the office without a
conference with Mrs. Price.
Extra credit?
I do not give extra credit on an individual basis. If it is offered, I
offer opportunities to the entire class. If a student is concerned about
grades, he/she needs to take advantage of these grade opportunities when
they are offered!
GENERAL CLASSROOM PROCEDURES?

students then raise their hands immediately and the room becomes silent.

is to be shown when others have the floor as well.
3. Mrs. Price will flash the lights if the noise level needs to be lowered
during partner/group work.
4. All eyes are to be on the instruction and speakers.
5. Respect and learning are daily expectations.
*****Students are sit UP appropriately. If there are health issues,
students should notify me at the beginning of class.
