I have been teaching at Vance for 24 years. This is my fourth year on the
Questors team as a social studies teacher. I have three daughters,one of
whom is a teacher also. I am also the proud grandparent of a 3 year grandson
and a 2 month old grandaughter.
In my spare time , I enjoy gardening, reading and traveling.
I am very excited about teaching social studies this year. I love to travel,
and geography and history have always held a keen fascination for me. I have
been in
almost every state east of the Mississippi River and have traveled in
several
European countries including England, France, Germany, Austria,
Switzerland,Belgium, Luxemburg, the Netherlands and Italy.
Sharing these adventures with
my students is all part of the fun.
I plan to cover all the required material so that the students will be
prepared for the TCAP tests. While I am doing this, I hope to encourage and
nurture the students' curiosity and interest in the global community in
which
we all live.
