My child is runing a fever should he/she stay home?

YES  If your child is running a fever they should not be at school.  Fever 
is an indication of illness and they are contagious and will spread their 
grems to others.

What is the difference between a cold and the flu?

With both a cold and flu there may be a fever involved.  The difference is 
the degree with a cold you may or may not have a low grade fever that runs 
between 98.8 and 99.0.  With the flu you will run a fever of 100.0 and 
greater.  With both you will have conjestion , a runny nose, and a cough, 
and they should be clear to light yellow in color.  If this changes color 
you need to see a doctor.

My child has a rash, what should I do?

ALL rashes need to be seen by a doctor.

Can my child carry cough drops to school?

If your child is going to need cough drops at school they need to be kept in 
the nurses office.  This is a school policy, and if you  child is cought 
with cough drops on their person the punishment will be 1 day in in-school.
