YES If your child is running a fever they should not be at school. Fever is an indication of illness and they are contagious and will spread their grems to others.Back to Top
What is the difference between a cold and the flu?
With both a cold and flu there may be a fever involved. The difference is the degree with a cold you may or may not have a low grade fever that runs between 98.8 and 99.0. With the flu you will run a fever of 100.0 and greater. With both you will have conjestion , a runny nose, and a cough, and they should be clear to light yellow in color. If this changes color you need to see a doctor.Back to Top

Can my child carry cough drops to school?
If your child is going to need cough drops at school they need to be kept in the nurses office. This is a school policy, and if you child is cought with cough drops on their person the punishment will be 1 day in in-school.Back to Top
