For 16 years I taught at Tennessee High School, primarily as AP and Honors English teacher for seniors. I then spent 3 years as an assistant principal at Elizabethton High School before returning to Bristol as assistant pricipal at Vance for ten years. This is my fifth year as principal of Vance Middle School. My wife, Mimi, is a retired art teacher who spent her entire career at Tennessee High. She now owns an art gallery in downtown Bristol. Our daughters, Kacy and Cami, are graduates of The College of Charleston. I love to sail, travel, and watch UT sports. My hobby is collecting hot sauces and hot sauce related items.
