| Web Design is an exciting career field that has exploded with the increased
popularity of the Internet as a communications tool. Students in Web Design
learn XHTML coding or tags to create simple web pages. Basic web design
principles are covered as well as website management techniques.
Armed with a basic knowledge of XHTML tags, students begin working on more
complex tasks using Macromedia's Dreamweaver software. Students gain
experience taking photos of school activities using a Canon SLR digital
camera. These photos are sized and compressed using Fireworks 8, another
Macromedia product.
Students in Web Page Design have the opportunity to gain actual work
experience as they design, create, and update websites for Central High
School and Morgan County Schools.
