About The Teacher

Hello, my name is Catherine Jones and I am the Parental Involvement 
Coordinator for the Weakley County School System. I am excited to say that 
this is my second year as Parental Involvement Coordinator. I am also the 
Coordinator for the Teacher Center, located in Dresden, TN. 
My husband and I have lived in Martin, TN for seven years.  My husband, 
Emmett, works for Tyson Foods and is the Wastewater Supervisor.  We have two 
children.   Wyatt is 6 and is in the first grade at Martin Primary School 
and Chloe-Elise is 4 and "can't wait to get to 'big school'."  We attend 
Church at Ralston Baptist Church, where I teach Sunday School and Children's 
Church.
  
 I encourage all parents to develop a close relationship with their child's 
teacher and to take an active,supportive role in their education.
