As the new school year gets underway I would like to start off by introducing
myself. My name is Ms. Shoemake and I will be a student teacher in your
son/daughter’s first grade classroom. This opportunity is the last step I
will take before receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from
Cumberland University. I’m very excited to be here at West Elementary. I
will be in the classroom working with Mrs. Hobbs from the beginning of the
school year through the middle of September. I’m looking forward to getting
to know you and your child in the upcoming weeks. We will have many
wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.
