Hi,
My name is Pam Stonecipher and I have the honor of being your child's
second grade teacher this year.
I am married and have two daughters. My husband is a civil engineer. My
oldest daughter just graduated from MTSU last year with a degree in Interior
Design. My youngest daughter graduated from MTSU this past May with a degree
in Psychology. She now works for Hospice in Memphis. We have two very
big dogs. Their names are Penelope and Nell Bean. (Penny and Nellie) We
have a new addition to our family. He is a miniture schnauzer. His name is
Gunnar. He is the best dog in the world!
We have lived in Mt. Juliet since 'before kids', twenty-six years ago. We
love this area and are pleased to be part of such a grand community.
I thought surly I would find a hobby after our girls left for college. I
just knew I would be able to finally have activities that did not include
ball games, practice after school, more ball games, musical plays, and high
school delimas. But I am still looking for one. A hobby that is.
I have been at West - going on twenty-one years. I truly believe it is the
best school in the county. I pass two other schools to get here and know I
am going to a school of academic excellence.
Our mission for our class is to achieve a learning
environment in which all students can learn. It is our mission to provide
learning situations for students to grow academically and socially.
Reading is at the top of our list of goals. We are striving for each child
to read at grade level or above.
