Homework

IN MATH WE ARE WORKING ON THE DAYS OF THE WEEK, ABB PATTERNS, ORDINAL NUMBERS
TO TENTH, GRAPHING WHICH INCLUDES MORE, LESS AND EQUAL, IDENTIFYING A PENNY
AND IT'S WORTH, CONCEPT OF MEASURING, AND WE ARE COUNTING OUR WAY TO THE
100TH DAY OF SCHOOL DAILY.

PLEASE WORK ON COLOR WORDS FOR MASTERY.

YOU SHOULD KNOW IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS MORE PRACTICE ON ANYTHING!!!!!
HERE IS A FABULOUS ROUTINE TO FOLLOW!!!

If it is a word, letter, shape or number that needs practice, point to or
show the letter, word or number, etc. and ask, "Is this (a)____or (a)_____?
Or say does this letter say (p) or (t)." If the answer is correct, praise
them. If they call a (p) a (t), point to it again and say, "No, this is not a
(t). Is this a (p) or a (t)." They must be given every opportunity to
achieve success if you want them to continue trying when they are unsure of
answers!!!

COOL GAMES TO PLAY AT HOME ARE...We have used a little flashlight and shine
it on the word, number or shape, __________. You can use a fly swatter as
well and say swat the word, number or shape, __________. Another cool game to
play is, "I HAVE ___________, WHO HAS ___________?" Make flash cards, pass
them out to the family and let the fun begin!!! We also play, "AROUND THE
WORLD". Two children stand beside each other. I show something we need to
know. The one who says it first gets to move on to the next person.
