My thanks to everyone who helped with our Fall Party. The class had such
a good time. Thank you so much for sending in such wonderful party foods,
treats and for coming to help. We had a great turn out.
Fall Festival week if finally here. So much work goes into making the
Festival a success to raise money for our school. Thank you to everyone
involved. Of course the success is whether we make money and the kids have
fun. The hours are 10:00-3:00. I hope everyone can stop by for a good time
Saturday. The kids are dressing up all week in anticipation of the big day
Saturday. Tuesday is "hat day" Wednesday "Favorite Team day" Thursday
farmer day, overalls, work clothes,flannel shirts, straw hats Friday is WEST
day wear a WEST Elementary Shirt or school colors.
I need your help in encouraging the children to read at least 15 minutes
each night. We are trying to push reading for fun everywhere. We are trying
to encourage the students to take AR tests to achieve their goals to
participate in the fun activities throughout the school year.
